Search engine optimization strategies, if not implemented correctly, can incur heavy loses to your website and business! Search Engine Optimization is crucial to the success of your online branding! Search engines have defined your site as being about something. They've expressed this to you by allowing your site to drive traffic for certain keywords. Search engine optimisation (or SEO) is the art of building a website and its content, with search engines and searchers in mind (shown on the left here). Through correct optimisation the chances of getting a website found under its key phrases should be dramatically increase. Search engines use a factor called "key word density" to determine how relevant that key word you're using is to the page. If it shows up a few times in the text, it is more "dense". Search engine optimization (SEO) is the art of creating Web pages that will rank high in search engine returns. SEO is accomplished by optimizing certain sections or "elements" in the HTML coding of each page. Search engine optimisation is no longer an exercise of matching keywords onsite/offsite to that of the search query. It's a game of inferred meaning (latent semantics ). Search Engine Algorithms constantly update themselves to avoid spamming and keep their results relevant and meaningful. Only a SEO professional or a SEO company can be abreast of all technologies and trends and apply them and include them in their SEO efforts. Search engine friendly web design is not just about getting excellent ranking on search engines. Remember that the latter do not read and use your web design content, your audience and clients do. Search is not only for the discovery of new content, it can also serve to recover previously visited content. Yet if you don't recall the exact terminology on the site, or all the content of the site is cloaked in images, your task will be more difficult. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is considered to be one of the most cost effective promotional tools in marketing for generating a higher volume of targeted sales. Traffic and conversion has always been the goal, and the only reason to shoot for high search rankings on competitive terms was because you generally got a lot of traffic that way, if your titles and descriptions were attractive. The various vertical search options have changed the face of that a bit, but that's been gradually happening for a few years. Traffic to your web site could be extremely low. Potential customers might not even know that your site exists.
