Stomach cancer

Stomach cancer (gastric cancer) is cancer that starts in any part of the stomach. Stomach cancer symptoms are different from those of other types of abdominal cavity organ cancers and it is also treated differently. Stomach cancer is curable if it is found while it is confined to the stomach. Unfortunately, because there are few early symptoms of stomach cancer, the cancer often spreads to other organs or the lymph nodes before it is diagnosed. Stomach cancer, which is also called gastric cancer, is a disease that starts in the stomach. More than 22,000 Americans will be diagnosed with stomach cancer this year.

Stomach cancer shows very little or almost no symptoms in its early stage. Occasionally, patient may experience a very light stomach ache. Stomach cancer is more common in developing nations, while becoming less so in Western countries. This type of cancer is thought to be triggered by poor diet and Helicobacter pylori infection, possibly working in combination. Stomach cancer is when this occurs in the cells in the stomach. There are probably two main reasons why stomach cancer is much more common in other parts of the world, and that is due to infections with something called Helicobacter pylori, also known as H.

Stomach cancer accounts for nearly 10% of total deaths from cancer. Stomach cancer tends to grow slowly over many years. Before a true cancer starts, there are usually changes that take place in the lining of the stomach (the mucosa). Stomach cancer is diagnosed through an examination that may include an upper gastrointestinal (GI) series. These are x-rays of the esophagus and stomach, which are taken after you drink a barium solution.

Stomach cancers can spread in different ways. They can grow through the wall of the stomach and invade nearby organs. Stomach cancer is one of the most fast-acting and deadly forms of cancer, and it's thought that one's odd of stomach cancer are increased when they contract the Helicobacter pylori bacterium. The Helicobacter pylori bacterium is passed on between people sharing small spaces, and I think the indication here is that new housing in Holland, where living spaces are notoriously cramped, is allowing people more space and they're therefore passing on less illnesses. Stomach cancers are classified according to the type of tissue where they originate. The most common type of stomach cancer is adenocarcinoma, which starts in the glandular tissue of the stomach and accounts for 90 to 95% of all stomach cancers.

Stomach cancers grow slowly over many years. Cancer just doesn't suddenly appear. Stomach cancer, also known as gastric cancer, is cancer that starts in any part of the stomach. The stomach is just one of many organs located in the abdomen, the area of the body between the chest and the pelvis. Stomach cancer is a malignant growth of cells lining the stomach. These are glandular type cells that produce stomach acid, protective mucus and digestive enzymes.

Stomach cancer, also called gastric cancer, is the name for cancer that begins in the stomach, generally the stomach lining. This type of cancer can eventually spread to lymph nodes and organs such as the liver, pancreas, colon, lungs and ovaries. Stomach cancer is also called gastric cancer and starts in the stomach. Once food has been chewed and swallowed it enters the esophagus, a tube that carries food through the neck and chest to the stomach. Stomach cancers (gastric adenocarcinomas) are often associated with H.pylori (70-90%). In an extensive review of gastric cancer and H.pylori the Eurogast Study Group determined that presence of H.pylori confers an approxi-mately six fold risk of gastric cancer, accounting for about half of all gastric cancers.

Stomach cancer is an abnormal growth of tissue in the stomach. It is also called gastric cancer. Stomach cancer can develop in any part of the stomach and may spread throughout the stomach and to other organs, even distant organs. Often there are no symptoms in the early stages, which can make the cancer hard to find early. Stomach cancer should be added to the burden of diseases caused by smoking.

Stomach cancer is sometimes called gastric cancer. Worldwide it is one of the most common cancers. Stomach cancer is a common cancer. Improved diet is believed to have contributed to a fall in the rate of stomach cancer. Stomach cancer is much more common, and the virus apparently protects against it. I think what they're saying is that it prevents more cases of stomach cancer than leukemia cases that it causes.

Treatment may include surgery , chemotherapy and radiotherapy . Surgery is the most common treatment. Treatment for stomach cancer may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or a combination of these treatments. The choice of treatment depends on whether the cancer is just in the stomach or if it has spread to other places in the body.
